For the first time , fetal hydronephrosis renal stenting in the womb was performed in Pardise Noor Medical Imaging Center.
In the ultrasound performed on a 4-month-old fetus, it was determined that the fetus has hydronephrosis (accumulation of urine in the kidneys). Then, after conducting the necessary examinations and according to klitin conditions of fetus, the decision was to stent fetus kidney. This procedure was performed without surgery and anesthesia and on an outpatient basis and drained urine into the amniotic fluid.
